ONGOING ACTIVITIES

The current profile of EMA’s activities is open to contribution of Members and non-Members of EMA. It is coordinated by the Executive Vice President for Medical Research and International relations. The aim is to focus on relevant medical topics which are somewhat neglected or poorly promoted and developed. We strive to promote international working groups of experts, coordinated by reference members, with the aim of generating a consensus and drafting a document to be published in a peer-reviewed medical Journal and thereafter linked to the EMA’s web page.
A primary role in the Association is that of EMA Board Consultants. They are invited to join any of the already established working groups. They can propose themselves as the reference person: they will have the coordinating task of drafting the lines of the topic in focus and organizing the agenda the web-meetings on Teams, Zoom, Webex or as they prefer. Even a multi-person call, i.e. a group video-call on whatsapp, may be adequate. Moreover, EMA Board Consultants are invited to participate in the Annual Meeting of the European Medical Association, that this year, 2025 will be the 35th congress, focused primarily on Advances in eHealth and Clinical Innovation. The partner Journal Healthcare will host EMA’s Members contributions in its International Online Conference on Clinical Medicine 17 to 19 November 2025.
Submission is open, and registration and abstracts, if accepted, will be published free of charge.

Deadline for abstract submission: 18 August 2025

The proposal of new working groups should be submitted to the President and/or the Executive vice President.
