The Council of Ministers has overall responsibility for the state s role in the social protection and health care system. Overall, chronic diseases dominate communicable diseases.
At the 2013 World Health Assembly, sustainable reform of the health system was the main focus of a bilateral meeting between WHO/Europe and the Ministry.
